MEDICAL DIRECTOR, KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PROGRAM

EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY: MEDICAL DIRECTOR, KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PROGRAM Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital (WBUH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced transplant nephrologist to assume a clinical and leadership role in the CH WBUH Transplant Center as Medical Director of the Kidney Transplant Program. The physician will direct all Kidney Transplant Program activities, monitor and meet external agency requirements, and ensure excellence in clinical care, programmatic growth, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance. The role combines programmatic leadership with transplant nephrology clinical responsibilities, including evaluation, selection, and management of patients in the pre‑transplant phase, active waitlist management, peri‑transplant care, longitudinal post‑transplant follow‑up, and assessment of living and deceased donors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong visionary leadership, deep understanding of transplant regulations and quality standards, and a commitment to evidence‑based patient‑centered care.
