Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified clinician for an acute care hospital setting in City, State , with a start date as soon as possible. This position involves working night shifts, specifically a 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Details

RTO: Up to 5 days of requests for time off allowed, including one holiday.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the required specialty.
First-timers: Accepted for this position.
Weekend Requirement: Yes, weekend shifts are mandatory.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Floating Policy: Clinicians may float to other ICU/Telemetry units as well as Medical Surgical/Telemetry as necessary.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, with the possibility of some cancellations.

Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital.
Trauma Center Level: Level II Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and Teaching facility.
Total Staffed Beds: 412.
Scrub Color: No specific colors required, but camouflage and character patterns are prohibited.
Charting System: Cerner.
Parking: Free parking provided.

Responsibilities

Providing patient care in the Telemetry unit, with the ability to float to ICU when needed.
Care of ventilated patients and management of dysrhythmias.
Working with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
Maintaining compliance with facility policies, including dress code and patient care standards.

Candidate Requirements

Must be available to work weekends and at least one holiday.
Preferred previous charge experience.
Experience with patient ratios in Telemetry, ICU, and related specialties.
Ability to float to other units as required by departmental needs.

Facility Expectations

Comply with the facility's dress code: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, and all tattoos must be covered.
No visible body piercings other than earrings, which should not extend beyond the earlobe.
