We are offering a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, plus a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible Full-Time CNAs. As a CNA, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while supporting their dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, personal care, and other needs in accordance with individualized care plans. Our CNAs are an essential part of the clinical team. Because you spend significant time directly with residents, you play a critical role in recognizing changes in condition, communicating concerns to licensed nursing staff, and helping ensure every resident receives compassionate and responsive care. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and personal care Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs in accordance with individualized care plans Safely assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility using appropriate equipment and established safety procedures Reposition residents as directed to promote comfort, skin integrity, and pressure injury prevention Accurately obtain and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure, as assigned Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, cognitive, or behavioral condition and promptly report concerns to the supervising nurse Respond promptly and professionally to call lights and resident requests Provide appropriate assistance with incontinence care and toileting while protecting resident privacy and dignity Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions when providing resident care Maintain resident rooms and care areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition Follow infection prevention practices, including proper hand hygiene, PPE utilization, and standard or transmission-based precautions as applicable Communicate respectfully and professionally with residents, families, nurses, coworkers, and members of the interdisciplinary team Accurately document assigned resident care and services according to facility procedures Immediately report accidents, incidents, injuries, changes in condition, allegations, or resident safety concerns to the appropriate licensed nurse Protect resident rights, privacy dignity, confidentiality, and personal preferences Follow Heritage Grove Estates policies and all applicable federal and Kansas requirements governing resident care Qualifications Current, active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) status in Kansas, meeting applicable state requirements Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare experience preferred but not required Compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older adults and individuals with varying physical and cognitive needs Dependable attendance and commitment to assigned schedules Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow care plans, nursing instructions, and established safety procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing and interdisciplinary care team Strong attention to resident safety, comfort, and changes in condition Ability to manage multiple resident needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care Benefits Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour $3,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible Full-Time CNAs Competitive compensation 401(k) retirement plan Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Care Cash Program Employee Referral Bonus Program — Earn up to $2,500 Career advancement opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Grow With Us At Heritage Grove Estates, we believe a CNA position can be the beginning of a rewarding long-term healthcare career.
