You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. Experience life at the forefront of a better tomorrow – for patients, our hospital and your career.This is a part time, night shift position covering the hours of 11:00pm – 11:00am at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.Preferred CriteriaPrior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care settingRequired CriteriaCertification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hireCompletion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R.
