PT Assistant Football Coach Quarterback PT Assistant Football Coach Defensive Line PT Assistant Football Coach Offensive Line PT Assistant Football Coach Running Back PT Assistant Coach Football Defensive Coordinator / Strength & Conditioning PT Assistant Coach Football Secondary PT Assistant Coach Football Outside Backer / Safeties Main Duties: Assist the head coach in conducting practice, including the running of drills, teaching techniques, and instructing in a manner consistent with the head coach’s philosophies. Assist head coach in evaluating both individual and team talents regarding recruiting and opposing teams/players. Collaborate with a head coach with in-game information such as strategy, statistics, and game management as requested by the head coach. Must be able to act as a liaison between head coach and players. Transport student‑athletes to and from games and practices if needed. Be prepared to conduct the duties of the head coach in the event of his/her absence. Have a solid background in that sport and a willingness to accept new ideas and philosophies. Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to students. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous playing/coaching of football preferred. Knowledge of rules associated with sports is required. A valid driver’s license is required. Rate - $6,000 for the season Sussex County Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
