TactStaff Education is hiring a full-time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 20262027 school year contract in Connecticut. This onsite opportunity focuses on supporting preschool and early childhood students during one of the most important stages of communication development.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, onsite position
• Contract Dates: August 19, 2026 June 11, 2027
• Schedule: 7:10 AM 2:10 PM
• Early Childhood / Preschool population
• $60$65/hour (W2), based on experience
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Interviewing now for the upcoming school year

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services for preschool-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
• Support communication, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication development
• Collaborate with teachers, families, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and special education staff
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Connecticut Department of Education certification (or eligibility prior to start date), if required
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Experience with early childhood or preschool populations is highly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
