Production Operator / Machine Operator (Entry Level Welcom)

About Us

Spazzolplastica North America LLC is the new U.S. operation of Teknospool, an Italian manufacturer of industrial reels and wire products. We are opening our first American plant in Mentor, Ohio, and we are hiring the first production team that will run it.

This is a genuine opportunity to get in at the start. Our production line is arriving from Italy, and the people we hire now will be trained on it directly by the engineers who built it.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate and monitor production equipment to produce parts to specification
• Load material, perform machine changeovers and clear minor jams following safety procedures
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and basic measuring tools, and record results
• Keep your work area clean, organized and safe
• Report quality issues, machine problems and near-misses immediately
• Support material handling, packing and shipping as needed

What We're Looking For

• Dependable attendance and a strong sense of ownership of your own work
• Willingness to follow safety procedures exactly, every time
• Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive precision work
• Able to read basic measurements and follow written work instructions
• Willingness to learn: we will train you on equipment that is new to the U.S.
• Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs

Helpful, But Not Required

• Experience as a machine operator, CNC operator, assembler or in a production environment
• Blueprint reading, metrology, lockout/tagout or OSHA 10
• Forklift experience or certification
• Welding or metal fabrication experience

What We Offer

• $19.00 - $29.00 per hour , depending on experience
• Full-time, [shift: e.g. 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM time to define]
• Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
• Work Location: In person
• Hands-on training with our Italian engineering team
