divh2NPI Manufacturing Technician 2 (1st Shift)/h2pRubbercraft (RCC) is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Technician 2 (1st Shift) responsible for supporting the development and production within the New Product Introduction (NPI) department. This role works closely with the Value Stream Manager, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and successful execution of new product builds./ppThis is a hands-on manufacturing role in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, contributing directly to business growth through improvements in safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, cost, and overall performance./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliSupport NPI development and production activities within the manufacturing environment/liliPerform precision hand lay-up of elastomeric and composite materials, including work in tight tolerances and small cavities/liliHandle and combine materials such as elastomers, dry fabrics, pre-impregnated fabrics, resins, and metal inserts to produce reinforced seals/liliMaintain high attention to detail while documenting processes and supporting development of work instructions/liliOperate hand tools, measurement devices, and equipment to meet quality standards/liliMaintain part identification, traceability, and compliance with documentation requirements/liliManage multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining product quality and efficiency/liliMaintain tools, molds, machines, and work areas in a clean and organized condition/liliApply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve cost, quality, and efficiency/liliSupport a safe work environment through adherence to 6S, EHS, and safety protocols/liliContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3pEducation/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED required/liliAssociate degree or higher preferred/li/ulpExperience/pulli2-4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required/liliExperience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing preferred/liliExperience in elastomeric or similar materials/processes preferred/li/ulpSkills Competencies/pulliStrong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment/liliKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles/liliUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures/liliStrong communication and teamwork skills/li/ulh3Physical Requirements:/h3ulliAbility to stand for extended periods/liliAbility to lift up to 40 lbs/li/ulh3Training:/h3ulliOn-the-job training for procedures and work instructions/liliAnnual refresher training in safety, FOD, calibration, and documentation/li/ulpBenefits:/ppAt Rubbercraft, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
