Responsibilities Responsible for providing efficient, quality‑oriented patient care within the scope of the department’s policy and procedure manual. Performs support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Qualifications Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program. Current, valid, active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment. Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor. Additional Qualifications & Skills One year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred. Professional image and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Independent decision‑making ability. Computer and software application proficiency. Freedom from illegal use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Certificates & Licensure Documented proof of degree, valid license, and BLS/ACLS certification is required. Vaccine Requirement Following federal COVID‑19 vaccine requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or have a valid religious or medical exemption. Unvaccinated employees on exempt must submit to weekly COVID‑19 testing and wear a respirator at all times in the facility.
