ORTHOPAEDIC INJECTION COORDINATOR

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, is recruiting for an enthusiastic, full-time Orthopaedic Injection Coordinator looking to unlock their potential and grow by joining our already AWESOME Billing Department located in our North Hills Office (McCandless).

Responsibilities of the Orthopaedic Injection Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Verifying insurance benefit information for prescription coverage.
• Obtaining prior authorization for each injection
• Submitting prescriptions to specialty pharmacies for processing
• Coordinating the delivery of the medications to the physician offices
• Scheduling patients for administration of the injection
• Providing customer service support via phone for patients and/or insurance carriers

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills via telephone and demonstrate the ability to work with others in various Departments, as well as independently. Candidates must also possess strong computer/typing skills, the ability to stay organized and the ability to multitask with a positive and upbeat attitude. Of the utmost importance is the ability to maintain Practice and patient confidentiality. Knowledge of insurances and prior authorization is strongly preferred with the understanding of payer guidelines.
