Job Description As a Security Officer Secure Entry Systems in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor activity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access-control activities, and observations according to Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
