Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will service national accounts, inside sales, outside sales, web, and other sales vehicles that sustain and grow relationships with customers. Warehouse operations will be accountable to meet customer’s needs and expectations immediately by ensuring accurate receiving, put away, bin replenishment, and fulfilling 100% daily outbound orders. Essential Job Functions: Assist and oversee all Outbound/Inbound/LTL activities Assist and oversee daily Outbound Orders, Picking and Packing and order picking efficiency Assist and oversee daily Inbound Purchase Orders, Receiving, and Stocking Assist and oversee efficiency to keep up with picking and receiving demand Oversee number of line item transactions per employee to meet performance standards Maintain Order Manager to efficiently fulfill outbound orders Assist and oversee accuracy by resolving order discrepancies Assist and oversee packing process Monitor packaging materials to ensure safe delivery of a product Ensure that customers receive the lowest shipping costs per package by monitoring: package dimensions, multiple box shipments, packaging materials, and all other packaging tools Assist and oversee that customers receive packages at the correct address (address verification) Assist and oversee shipping methods are automatically interfaced with information that tracks and invoices customers package Assist Warehouse Manager in recruiting, performance reviews, termination and disciplinary actions as needed Non Essential Job Functions: Safety and OSHA compliance for warehouse operations Assist Warehouse Manager with Forklift certification for warehouse employees Monitor and minimize overtime with Warehouse Manager Assist approval of time cards through ADP Attend department meeting as necessary Other duties as assigned Supervisory Duties: This position may supervise up to 50 employees Certifications: Must be forklift certified Job Qualifications: Warehouse experience required 1 - 2 years supervisor experience preferred Travel Requirements: N/A Working Conditions: Position requires individual to utilize a computer for long periods of time Position requires individual to work independently Position requires individual to work in a group setting Position (may) require(s) individual to work in cold, dry places Position (may) require(s) individual to work in hot, humid places Physical Requirements: Position requires individual to sit for long periods of time Position requires individual to stand for long periods of time Position requires lifting over 50lbs SHIFT 7:00 AM START BUT COULD VARY AT TIMES AND DEPARTMENT #J-18808-Ljbffr
