About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, TNCC Must-Have: Candidates must have the required certifications. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The unit has a capacity of 12 beds. There are 6-8 staff members on duty during day shifts. Night shifts have 5-6 staff members. The team consists of RNs, an ER Tech, and a Unit Secretary. Patient ratios are 4:1. The unit is equipped with EMR. Typical procedures performed include STEMI and Stroke/TPA interventions. Candidates should be strong in Neuro and Cardiac care. Candidates should possess high energy and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs, though color is not strictly enforced. No competitor emblems should be worn. Noteworthy recognitions include a 12-minute door to needle time for TPA. The unit has the fastest bed assignment time in the region.
