Salary: $244,000 - $298,000 + Bonus Hybrid: Boston-based | Office presence required Our client is a growing, international business transformation consultancy with approximately 200 employees across the UK and US. With an established Boston presence and a rapidly expanding US team, they are seeking a VP to play a pivotal role in scaling the US business and establishing its next phase of growth. Their work spans business analysis, business transformation, change management and project management , partnering with clients to solve complex problems, improve ways of working and successfully deliver strategic and operational change. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced consulting professional who combines commercial capability with strong people leadership . Initially operating as a senior leader and effectively second-in-command within the US business, you'll work closely with the wider leadership team to grow the Boston operation. The VP will… Lead business development activity across the Boston market, identifying opportunities and developing senior client relationships. Represent the business credibly in senior client meetings, pitches and business development conversations. Help strengthen the organisation's US market presence and develop its reputation with local clients. Work closely with the wider leadership team to convert opportunities and deliver excellent customer outcomes. Provide senior leadership, coaching and mentorship to consultants and senior consultants within the Boston team. Help recruit and develop the next generation of leadership talent within the US business. Build a high-performing, collaborative team as the US operation scales. Partner with the wider leadership team to shape the strategy and operating model for the US business. Identify opportunities to develop the proposition, client base and market presence. Balance commercial growth with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality of delivery. Help shape the culture and ways of working as the US team grows. Take increasing responsibility for the overall leadership and performance of the US operation, with the potential to step into the top US leadership role. You’ll bring… Experience operating at Director level or equivalent within consulting, business transformation or a related professional services environment. A strong track record of business development Demonstrable experience leading, managing and developing consulting professionals. Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of how to grow a professional services business. Experience in a smaller, mid-sized or entrepreneurial consultancy is highly desirable. The ability to operate with autonomy, ambiguity and a genuine ownership mindset. A grounded, collaborative leadership style and the ability to build trust quickly. A genuine interest in developing people and creating a high-performing team. An entrepreneurial mindset, with the motivation to build something rather than simply operate within an established structure.
