General Clerk - Westside Market NYC - New York
Retail
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Clerk with primary responsibility for our Beverage Department.
Responsibilities
- Stock, organize, and maintain the Beverage Department.
- Monitor inventory and place beverage orders as needed.
- Receive, unpack, and organize deliveries.
- Keep shelves, coolers, and back-stock areas clean, full, and organized.
- Rotate products and check for expired or damaged merchandise.
- Build and maintain beverage displays and promotions.
- Assist with general stocking, packing/unpacking, and other store duties as needed.
- Help customers locate products and provide friendly service.
Requirements
- Grocery, stocking, or beverage experience preferred.
- Ordering/inventory experience is a plus.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Able to lift and move cases of beverages and merchandise.
- Willing to take ownership of the Beverage Department while helping throughout the store as needed.
