E COMMERCE MANAGER – Sterling Silver Jewelry Company In Office, Brooklyn, NY We’re seeking a results-driven e-commerce manager to join our team and growing business. You will lead our e-commerce operations and strategy and be a crucial team member in driving increases in channel revenue, traffic and conversion. Objectives & Responsibilities The E-commerce Manager will be accountable for the performance of online sales channels including eBay, eBay Live, Walmart & Amazon, and will handle the following responsibilities: Develop and execute e-commerce strategies for Amazon, Walmart, eBay and eBay Live that drive online sales and enhance the customer experience. Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management. Hire and/or supervise eBay Live host. Collaborate with cross-functional departments and customer service to ensure smooth e-commerce processes, seamless customer services and high customer satisfaction, and to resolve issues quickly. Track, analyze and report on traffic, conversion rates, sales, consumer behavior, customer satisfaction and return on investment, using data management systems and key performance indicators (KPIs.) Implement digital marketing initiatives, including website maintenance, optimization, email marketing campaigns and social media, to drive traffic and sales. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including payment gateways, logistics partners, and e-commerce platforms. Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies. Manage product mix, merchandising, listings, descriptions, and pricing, making sure the right products are featured in the right places and reflects the current promotional strategy Regularly update product information, images, and descriptions to ensure accuracy, appeal, and consistency. Plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns to increase sales and boost customer engagement. Monitor website functionality and handle troubleshooting issues with the e-commerce platform, including technical problems and user experience challenges. Coordinate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing. Requirements Documented track record of improving channel revenue, conversion and quality of digital endeavors and assets. 3-5+ years of experience as an e-commerce manager or in a similar e-commerce or digital marketing role. In-depth experience in online sales platforms and digital marketing strategiesfor Amazon, Walmart, eBay and eBay Live. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field. Expertise in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing. Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and e-commerce tracking tools. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with CRM software and MS Excel. Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they impact online sales. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry. Solid communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data. Familiarity with e-commerce trends such as personalization, chatbots, or AI-driven shopping experiences. Experience with inventory management and supply chain management. Knowledge of best practices in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM). Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Experience with performance marketing, including paid advertising and retargeting strategies. Experience with advanced data analytics tools. Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management in an e-commerce setting. Experience with testing tools and A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user testing i.e. Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, or platform-native testing. Excel/Google Sheets: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic data modeling for reporting Strong financial acumen for managing e-commerce budgets and sales forecasts. Knowledge of web development and CMS platforms for custom e-commerce solutions. Ability to collaborate with other departments, staff and outside vendors.
