All Jobs > Regulatory Compliance Analyst Reporting directly to our Chief Executive Officer, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and research savvy Worker’s Compensation Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our growing team. This exciting role provides the opportunity to showcase your research skills to both FCBI and MidSouth’s valued insurance agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders. The candidate will coordinate, perform and/or oversee state policy and rate filing activities to ensure company’s compliance with state regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for monitoring state policy form and rate regulations, NCCI and independent bureau changes and communicating with internal stakeholders to recommend and implement procedural changes across the organization to ensure business operations comply with changing requirements. Respond to Department of Insurance directives concerning change to rules and regulations to determine impact on policies. Work closely with other departments (underwriting, actuarial, and IT) to monitor and communicate filing methods and procedures to ensure rate and form filings in use are accurate and current. Coordinate, perform and/or oversee state filings activities for bureau and independent insurance products in all states for various lines of business. Work with state regulators to ensure product compliance in order to gain approval. Coordinate and document all activities surrounding the filing, approval, disapproval of all filings with state insurance departments. Stay current on relevant laws and regulations and advise individuals and organizations on how to comply with them. Assess compliance-related risks and find ways to reduce them. Perform duties related to the development and operation of the companies SIU (Special Investigation Unit) payroll and premium fraud in accordance with state required rules and regulations. Perform compliance audits and assessments. Document findings, recommendations, and other information. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements College courses, and/or college degree preferred. Three years of relevant business, compliance, and/or regulatory experience. Knowledge NCCI and other bureau advisory filings andmanuals. Knowledge rate and forms filing procedures and compliance with laws, regulations, orstandards. Proven track record of strong organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to compile, organize, and analyze data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
