On Site Field Svc Technician 3pm-12am

About the Role Spotting a solution and fixing a problem is a tremendous technical skillset. It requires diligence, determination, and a knack for knowledge. This is a 2nd shift position working Monday‑Friday 3pm‑12am and may require on‑call rotation. Your Impact Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures. Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications. Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics. Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance. Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned. Provide direction to less experienced technicians. Provide solutions to escalated technical and/or customer service‑related problem areas for any territory requested. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, with 1–2 years of related experience. Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel. Capability to work in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on‑call rotations. Ability to obtain required security and/or other clearances needed to enter customer premises. Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). COVID‑19 vaccination and other measures may be required in accordance with customer policies and protocols. Compensation Base salary range $21.50–$30.75 per hour. Eligible for a transportation allowance. Workstyle Description Full‑time on‑site, 2nd shift Monday‑Friday 3 pm–12 am; may require on‑call rotation.
