Elementary School Teacher

Knowledge of Hebrew language and Judaic Studies, Jewish religious customs and holidays is a must! Magen David Yeshivah is looking for Elementary School Lead Teachers at our Brooklyn school. The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer. Responsibilities Work together with the 1st through 5th grade team to follow the outlined curriculum Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress. Educate and support students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks. Plan lessons that target specific skills and concepts. Cultivate core Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion and integrity within students. Participates in various student and parent activities which occur in school including PTA and student clubs.
