Job Title: Test Technician
Type of Role: Contract to hire
Shift / Hours: 1st Shift Monday- Friday
Location : Carrollton, TX
Hourly Range: $18.00/hr to $25.00/hr

Nature of Duties:

• Test and diagnose products to the component level.
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
• Enter test and repair results in data reporting tools.
• Work with epoxies, adhesives, thermal gels, and solder.
• Perform incoming and in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Perform test equipment maintenance.
• Pack and prepare products for shipping.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's Degree / 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing testing.
• Some soldering experience or certification is desired.
• Experience handling and testing of components.
• Knowledge of materials, tooling, and mechanical assembly skills for electronic products.
• Microscope and miniature microelectronic assembly skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written guidelines or drawings and accurately and concisely communicate testing results.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent Computer skills.
• Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas.
• Able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
