This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies while fostering a positive work environment. The HR Generalist will handle employee relations, recruitment support, benefits administration, and performance management processes. By effectively coordinating these activities, the role contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as a generalist. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices applicable in the United States. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a part‑time or flexible HR role. Familiarity with HRIS software such as Workday, ADP, or BambooHR. Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution. Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll processes.Experience with performance reviews and gathering data Responsibilities: Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. Support onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies. Facilitate communication between employees and management to address workplace concerns and promote positive employee relations. Assist in performance management processes including tracking evaluations and providing guidance on performance improvement. Support HR projects and initiatives as needed to improve HR processes and employee engagement. Skills: The required and preferred skills are utilized daily to manage a broad range of HR functions efficiently and accurately. Strong communication skills enable the HR Generalist to interact effectively with employees and management, ensuring clear understanding and resolution of HR matters. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices ensures compliance and reduces organizational risk. Proficiency with HRIS and office software supports accurate record-keeping, reporting, and process automation.
