Senior Associate, M&A Transactions

Our client, a specialized boutique investment bank is looking to add a Senior Analyst to their team in New York, NY. You'll be a part of a 3‑6 person deal team covering M&A, private equity recapitalization, capital raising and strategic advisory engagements. This role offers hands‑on client exposure from day 1 where you'll take ownership of transaction execution from pitch phase through closing with a focus on middle market sell‑side M&A transactions. What You Will Do Build and maintain detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, comparable company and transaction analysis) for private and public targets, and perform preliminary valuation work and market sizing to frame strategic options for clients Conduct sector research and precedent transaction analysis to support live deal work and new business pitches Manage client due diligence processes end to end: coordinating data room setup, tracking buyer requests, and liaising between clients, legal counsel, and counterparties Support buyer and investor outreach including preparation of teasers, NDAs, and process letters during competitive sale processes Monitor deal timelines, manage workstreams across advisors, and keep senior bankers informed of open items through closing Lead preparation of offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations that position clients effectively to buyers and capital providers Draft internal deal committee memoranda summarising transaction rationale, risk factors, and deal structure recommendations Create pitch books and strategic materials for new business development including sector overviews and preliminary valuation work Contribute directly to deal strategy and positioning discussions, and interface with client management teams during due diligence, preparation of materials, and throughout live processes Qualifications 2‑5 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory or financial due diligence Experience closing sell‑side M&A transaction Background in healthcare, TMT, consumer, industrials, or financial sponsors #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
