Express Employment Professionals is looking for Powder Coaters in the Bedford, OH Area


Welder : $20-$23/Hour


Job Description:


• Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating including cleaning, degreasing, masking, and pre-treatment to ensure proper adhesion


• Apply powder coat material using electrostatic spray equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards


• Monitor and maintain cure oven temperatures and dwell times to achieve specified film thickness and finish quality


• Measure and document dry film thickness using calibrated gauges to verify compliance with job specifications


• Inspect finished parts for surface defects, runs, holidays, or adhesion failures and perform touch-up or rework as needed


• Maintain powder coating equipment including spray guns, booths, and ovens in clean and proper working condition


• Mix, manage, and rotate powder inventory; minimize waste and document usage


Requirements


• Assemble fuel tank weldments and related components per engineering drawings and work instructions using basic hand tools


• Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and assembly specifications


• Verify dimensions and fitment of assembled components; report non-conformances to supervisor


• Install fittings, plugs, brackets, and hardware to print specifications


• Perform basic quality checks and complete inspection records as required
