Accounting Supervisor

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Maintain general and supporting sub-ledgers, perform financial analysis, and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis and comprehensive reporting packages.
• Handle consolidation and elimination entries, and reconcile intercompany and affiliate accounts.
• Support automation improvements to streamline accounting and reporting processes.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in corporate or operational accounting.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel functions like pivot tables, vlookups, and text formulas.
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.

• Experience with accounting systems and invoicing platforms is preferred.
• Ability to perform accounting research and stay current on relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication skills when interacting with others.
• Be willing to participate in special projects, ad hoc requests, and ongoing process improvements.
• Adapt to working conditions that may include prolonged desk work, occasional overtime, and light lifting up to 15 lbs.
