The department offers teaching and non‑teaching degrees and courses that fulfill university core requirements. Position Overview The Kinesiology, Health Promotion & Recreation Department seeks qualified individuals for our Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Specific courses may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis depending on department teaching needs. Course offerings will be at the Denton campus. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in the area of teaching for undergraduate instruction; Ph.D. (or equivalent) for graduate instruction. Preferred Qualifications Previous undergraduate or graduate level teaching experience in Kinesiology/Health Behavior, Fitness/Recreation, Event and Sport Management, or a related field. Required License/Registration/Certifications None specified. Physical Requirements Communicating with others to exchange information.
