Overview Position Type: Athletics/Activities/Coaching Date Posted: 1/12/2026 Location: Paw Paw High School Job Details Job Posting Dates: January 12, 2026 – Until Filled Title: Varsity Boys Golf Coach Job Location: Paw Paw High School Reports To: Athletic Director Job Type: 2025/2026 Season Contract Qualifications Must possess high school diploma Extensive experience with Golf Cap 1 and/or Cap 2 certification (prior to season) First Aid and CPR certified (prior to season) Successful past coaching experience, preferred Knowledge of the MHSAA Golf rules and regulations, preferred Ability to work within a coordinated Golf curriculum from youth through varsity level Strong personal and social skills, with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media Job Description Responsible for all Varsity Boys Golf practices, games and related activities Coordinate in-season and out-of-season training / conditioning opportunities for grades 9-12 Work within a program philosophy and curriculum that builds upon itself from grades 9-12 Develop cohesive coaching relationships that work to develop players from grades 9-12 Responsible for all equipment and uniform inventory of the team Teach and instruct all aspects of Golf, while working to develop and emphasize positive character traits in all athletes Provide coaching, encouragement, and guidance to all athletes in the program Build meaningful positive relationships with staff and student body Motivate players and coaches to work toward program and philosophy goals Other duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director Salary/Benefits Per VBCEA/PPEA, MEA-NEA contract Schedule C Start Date Tentatively March 2026 How to Apply Apply Here STATEMENT OF NON-DISCRIMINATION: It is the policy of the Paw Paw Public School District that no discriminatory practices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, height, weight, marital status, disability, genetic information or any other status covered by federal, state, or local law be allowed during any program, activity, service, or in employment.
