Job Summary:  We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and collect necessary documentation
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
• Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Process payments, copays, and financial transactions accurately
• Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or certification in healthcare administration a plus)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service role
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
