A Book Keeper plays a vital role in managing the financial records of a small team, supporting accurate and timely bookkeeping processes. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position involves handling various accounting tasks to ensure the company’s finances are well-organized and compliant with relevant regulations.
** Responsibilities **
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements regularly
- Process invoices and assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Support payroll processing and prepare financial reports
- Track expenses and monitor budgets
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance support
- Maintain organized records to support audits and internal reviews
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
