Job details This Jobot Job is hosted by: Karyn Spies Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 per year A bit about us Family law firm emphasizing a "trauma-informed" and client-centered approach to help clients navigate emotionally difficult legal matters with an emphasis on communication, transparency, and support. The firm incorporates a Licensed Clinical Social Worker into its practice to help clients manage the emotional aspects of litigation related to divorce, custody disputes, domestic violence issues, and other family conflicts. The firm is recognized for its compassionate attorneys, responsiveness, and support during difficult family law cases. Responsibilities Maintain excellent client communication and develop strong, trusting relationships with clients. Positively represent our firm and brand in court, in the community, and online. Manage a caseload from start to finish. Conduct potential client interviews and develop a tailored strategy for each case. Prepare cases for mediation, hearings, and trial. Handle discovery and manage document review and case preparation. Review pleadings, motions, and orders, and conduct legal research as needed. Participate in regular trauma-informed care training. Become a trained mediator and complete collaborative family law training. Qualifications 3+ years of family law practice. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
