Human Resources Manager

Join an established organization as a Human Resources Manager, overseeing approximately 500 employees across multiple locations. Human Resources Manager Requirements & Qualifications

5–6 years of Human Resource experience
Strong knowledge of California labor laws
Experience managing LOA, FMLA, COBRA, PDL, and PFL programs
Bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM certification is a plus
Experience with union employees a plus

Human Resources Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Previous work with unionized workforces
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Human Resources Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee all recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new hires
Serve as the main point of contact for HR issues, investigations, and labor law updates, reporting directly to the CEO
Monitor and manage workers' compensation claims and EDD matters
Oversee administration of all leave programs
Lead negotiations and management of open enrollment and employee benefit packages
