Hiring Requirements: Previous Experience Required High School Diploma, or G.E.D. Valid Driver’s License Must be at least 21 years old Must be willing to complete a criminal background check Must be authorized to work in the United States Work Environment: Group Home for Adults with Developmental Disabilities Supervises: Direct Support Professionals and Team Leaders Summary: The Program Manager has direct oversight of an adult residential program providing support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program Manager is the direct liaison between Next Steps and the Area Agencies and or funding sources, family members, guardians, external health care professionals and any other ancillary service providers. The Program Manager is responsible to ensure the overall physical and mental health and wellness of the individuals and to assist them in attaining their goals. The Program Manager is responsible in ensuring the highest quality of services are being delivered to the individuals. The Program Manager is responsible in ensuring that the program is adhering to all certification and licensing requirements. The Program Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all program and client documentation. Do you like to work with people? Staff assists each individual to become more productive and active members of their community. Next Steps Community Services offers onsite services and supports provided by highly trained staff. This includes an array of services to enhance the quality of life for each person served. Individualized clinical and behavioral treatment; counseling services; independent living skill development; vocational/educational skill development; and relationship-oriented coaching, mentoring, and teaching are the staples offered at this program. Ongoing Training: We provide all staff training and staff are paid to attend these trainings. First Aid, CPR, MOAB, Medication Administration Program, Fire Safety, OSHA, Human/Client Rights Training. Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply: DSP Team Lead, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Residential Counselor, Support Staff, Direct Care Staff, or Group Home Staff experience Background in human services or direct care roles.
