Member Engagement Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Providing support for member engagement and retention, the full-time Member Engagement Specialist will manage member inquiries, assist with appeals and grievances, and advocate for members' rights while working in a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities Provide direct telephonic assistance to members, resolving issues and complaints to enhance member engagement Educate members on their rights, benefits, and covered services, including preventive care Collaborate with the care management team to identify trends in member issues and implement solutions Required qualifications At least 2 years of experience in member services, community engagement, or customer service in a healthcare setting Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and behavioral health issues Effective interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
