Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients, including premature infants and those with complex medical conditions. The role requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, emphasizing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license valid in Maryland or a Compact licensure, BLS certification, CPI certification; 2 years of NICU experience, additional relevant certifications as listed, and familiarity with Meditech charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trach/ventilation management, neonatal patient diagnoses such as prematurity, NAS, feeding issues, cardiac defects, and familiarity with special equipment like trach/vents, PICCs, and TPN/ILs.
• Patient Age Group: Neonates, infants, pediatrics.
• Patient Diagnoses: Prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Care for neonatal patients requiring specialized procedures and equipment, including vent management, trach care, PICCs/CL, TPN/IL.
• Unit Information: Daily census of approximately 32 patients; interprofessional support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, interpretation services, and unit secretary.
• Additional Details: Working within an interdisciplinary team, candidates must be comfortable floating within scope and working rotating day/night shifts. The start date is 09/14/2026, with a contract length of 13 weeks.
