Sr. Finance Director

Senior Director of Global Financial Planning and analysis for a $3.5B medical technology business unit at Becton Dickinson. Reports to VP of Finance and leads strategic budgeting, forecasting, R&D portfolio management, and margin improvement initiatives across a global organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate annual budget, quarterly projections, and long-term strategic plans for MMS business unit
- Establish key performance indicators and financial goals aligned with business strategy
- Develop and publish regular financial reporting and analysis tracking results against KPIs
- Lead R&D investment prioritization and ensure ROI accountability
- Partner with MMS Excellence office to identify margin improvement and process efficiency opportunities
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Accounting plus MBA or CPA certification
- 15+ years accounting and financial analysis experience in multinational companies
- Proficiency with SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and BPC systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, finance principles, and internal controls
- Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams in global matrix structures
- Advanced financial modeling and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication across all organizational levels
