Business Analyst

Job Description

-Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business processes, operational challenges, and system requirements. -Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for a new case management solution. -Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to define current-state processes and future-state business needs. -Create detailed process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and business requirements documentation. -Lead efforts to identify automation opportunities, process improvements, and future-state capabilities within the new system. -Support change management initiatives by assessing organizational impacts, facilitating stakeholder readiness activities, and driving user adoption. -Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, training materials, and other project artifacts. -Work closely with technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders within Azure DevOps to manage -requirements, user stories, and project backlogs. -Participate in solution evaluation, system selection, and recommendations for business process improvements. -Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and business impact analyses. -Support testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), test case validation, and verification of business outcomes. -Assist with data collection, data mapping, and data management activities related to the system modernization effort. -Review project deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities. -Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership as needed.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology initiatives. -Previous experience working within a Public Sector or Government environment. -Experience supporting application modernization, digital transformation, or case management system implementations. -Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation skills. -Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements. -Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management and requirements tracking. -Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and working across diverse business groups. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Experience supporting change management and end-user adoption activities.
