This position partners closely with plant leadership and corporate finance, providing critical insights that drive business decisions and continuous improvement. Our manufacturing facility is located in Spring Hill, TN and we are looking for local candidates.What You'll DoAs a Senior Accountant, you will be a trusted business partner responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting while helping leadership understand performance trends and opportunities.Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Partner with leadership to provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation reporting, and capital project tracking Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Support inventory accounting and annual physical inventory processes Review and monitor sales tax reporting through Avalara Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting procedures Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracyWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting3-5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experienceStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processesExperience with financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysisAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience within a manufacturing environmentFixed asset and capital accounting experienceKnowledge of Avalara sales tax softwareCPA or CMA certification, or active pursuit of certificationWhy Join Us?At Pioneer Manufacturing, you'll have the opportunity to go beyond traditional accounting responsibilities.
