Occupational Safety, Environmental, Facility Management - Adjunct Faculty - Continuing Education

Position Summary This part‑time position teaches college‑level non‑credit Workforce Development courses focusing on OSHA 10‑Hour and OSHA 30‑Hour awareness, safety topics including Lead Paint, Lock‑out/Tag‑out, Confined Space, EPA certifications and Green Topics, and/or directing and overseeing building operations and efficiency. Campus locations: Catonsville, MD; Dundalk, MD; or Essex, MD. Minimum Requirements Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must be a subject matter expert. Computer proficiency required. Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments. Employees may contribute traditional pre‑tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post‑tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions. Deferred Compensation Plan – 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. Parking Free parking. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses.
