We're seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of one of Nashville's premier upscale casual dining destinations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a confident, hands-on leader who is passionate about exceptional hospitality, team development, operational excellence, and driving business growth.

In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations while creating memorable guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring financial success. You'll work a balanced schedule of five days per week (approximately 50 hours) with two consecutive days off .

Position Summary

The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This leader will champion company standards, coach and develop the team, oversee administrative functions, and build lasting relationships within the Nashville hospitality community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and build relationships that turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop front-of-house management and hourly team members.
• Ensure all operational standards, policies, and procedures are consistently executed.
• Oversee cash handling, daily closeouts, invoices, payroll, labor management, budgeting, and P&L performance.
• Monitor financial results and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, HR procedures, employee handbook guidelines, and new hire documentation.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise team members.
• Increase beverage and spirits knowledge to support elevated guest experiences and team education.
• Attend weekly leadership meetings and communicate company initiatives to the restaurant team.
• Build strong relationships with local businesses, industry professionals, vendors, and community partners.
• Identify VIP guests and key community influencers while creating meaningful, lasting connections.
• Represent the restaurant as a positive ambassador within the Nashville hospitality community.
• Stay informed on local market trends and the competitive landscape to support continued business growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a full-service or upscale casual environment.
• Proven ability to lead high-volume restaurant operations.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and labor control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Self-motivated, positive, and highly organized.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
