The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide night shift clinical coverage at this on-site emergency department in Washington, with no call responsibilities associated with this assignment. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients presenting across a broad spectrum of emergency conditions. Clinicians will work collaboratively with RN support staff and communicate effectively with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams to ensure appropriate patient handoffs and continuity of care. Participation in quality improvement initiatives to support patient outcomes is expected throughout the assignment.
