Field Sales: Territory includes CO, AZ, UT, NV So CA. By automating and streamlining critical workflows, the integrated platform of modern solutions enables dealers to sell and service more vehicles by creating simple and convenient experiences for customers and improves their financial and operational performance.Position SummaryThe Territory Development Executive with our Heavy Truck division creates business relationships, increases revenue, by retaining, growing business with existing as well as growing market shares via conquest sales through face-to-face sales activities. Works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products. Achieves annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Director of Sales.Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota:Identify new opportunities with existing customersIncrease market share through conquest salesGrow and maintain existing accountsGenerate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approachDevelop an overall sales plan and forecast short and long-term sales results.Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality.Interface and work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.Understand industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and/or territory.Focus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs and bringing forth integrated solutions.Diagnose and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner with appropriate resolution for the customer and company.Qualifications & Job Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of B2B sales experience in a field sales positionExperience growing market share through conquest salesExperience targeting and penetrating key prospects and influencing decision makersDemonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationshipsExperience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solutionMust be able to negotiate and close opportunitiesAbility to manage a complex sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the clientKnow how to develop and manage a sales territoryPersuasive written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation skillsAbility to travel 80% or more, including overnight travelPreferred Attributes & Qualifications:Experience in Automotive or Heavy Truck industryInfluential, relationship builder Good time management skillsInitiative and self-starterSalary = $100,000 + Uncapped Commissions CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
