On our team, you will provide stellar care at one of the top healthcare organizations in the nation.The Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient provides comprehensive clinical and operational pharmacy services to support safe and effective medication therapy for hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include medication order verification and clarification, drug therapy evaluation and dosing optimization, monitoring for interactions and therapeutic appropriateness, providing pharmacokinetic consultations, supporting sterile product preparation, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds when scheduled in a clinical capacity. This caregiver also provides operational pharmacy coverage as needed while ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance.This role has the opportunity to cross-train in other specialties such as ED, critical care, etc.A caregiver in this position will:Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences.Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:PharmD or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacyCurrent state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hireCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification obtained within 90 days (for individuals required to administer immunizations).Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross.
