Job Description

The Heritage Steakhouse, East County’s premier upscale dining destination, is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Known for our innovative menu and commitment to excellence, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The Pastry Cook will play a key role in preparing and producing all pastry items for daily restaurant service and special banquets, while leading a small team and ensuring high standards in quality and presentation.

HOURLY +TIPS

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake pastry items following established recipes and standards
Support daily restaurant service and event baking requirements
Maintain quality control and consistency across all pastry products
Manage inventory and ensure timely production planning
Execute recipes accurately and present plated menu items to specifications
Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of experience in pastry cooking
High school diploma or equivalent
Expertise in pastry techniques, bread making, and dessert preparation
Strong team leadership and organizational skills
Effective time management and attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety standards
