Mid Shift, 5x8-Hour Schedule (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday) with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments and supplies. This role requires experience in a Level I Trauma Center and the ability to float to meet facility needs when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for sterile processing.
• Utilize knowledge of various specialties including Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN.
• Participate in holiday rotations and floating to other facilities as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• National Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required.
• Level I Trauma experience is required.
• Experience with sterilization techniques and equipment, including Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS) and biological indicators.
• Ability to work in varied clinical environments, including acute hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
