Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for clients, evaluating their mental health, substance use disorders, and related medical needs.

• Provide behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress.

• Document mental health evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with electronic medical record (EMR) standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to escalate patient needs and ensure integrated care.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to support recovery and promote emotional stability among clients.

• Coordinate with local community resources, including referrals for medication assistance programs, housing, and support networks.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of processes and protocols for effective data collection and outcome measurement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of individuals seeking detoxification from substance use disorders, as well as those requiring comprehensive mental health services. As an LCSW with Thrive Mental Health Services, you will adopt a trauma-informed approach, recognizing the unique challenges faced by each client and addressing their cultural and individual needs in a sensitive and supportive manner.

Qualifications\n

• Active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work with at least three years of post-licensure experience in mental health or substance use treatment.
