Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Thur 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, visitor issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns and/or unusual activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing conditions and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security‑related issues as needed. Screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to the appropriate point of contact while maintaining orderly access flow. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. COLA: DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and/or MMR vaccinations are required. Security‑related experience of 6+ months is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
