Facilities & Maintenance ManagerVenue Nation is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager for Mystic Lake Amphitheater to oversee venue safety, mechanical operations, vendor partnerships, and overall property upkeep. This role ensures OSHA compliance, supervises maintenance staff, manages grounds and infrastructure, and upholds operational standards to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-maintained venue environment.This role is a Part-Time Seasonal position.Maintaining the Venue to OSHA and Safety StandardParticipate in monthly safety committee meetingsEnsure that all safety standards are meet according to OSHA propertiesEnsure that all safety equipment is available and kept in stock (fire extinguishers and safety glasses)Coordinate with all operations managers to ensure property is kept to industry standardMechanical OperationsAll plumbing and electrical systems are operating to standardAll electrical systems are operating to standardAll light construction work is being completed in a timely mannerAll painting work is being kept clean and standardMaintain Relationships with Local VendorsMaintain appropriate relationships with local vendorsEnsure that relationships with local vendors are professionalComparative price shoppingGrounds and LandscapeUpkeep of all plants at the exterior of the buildingSupervision of DepartmentInterviews, selects, trains, and supervises department staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff.Provide a positive environment within the department, maintaining open communication with crew.Ensures and makes arrangements to repair and/or replacement of used damaged equipment.Purchases, re-orders and maintains adequate supplies and inventory of cleaning products.Conduct evaluations of staff, outline goals, propose raise recommendationsEnsure that staff training is complete and satisfactory.Work with scheduling payroll administrator to ensure that all staffing needs are met.Budget appropriately for each show's needs while working to reach the overall operating per/head goal.Required:3–5 years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experienceWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety compliance standardsExperience overseeing plumbing, electrical, and general construction/repair workPrior supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong vendor management and cost-control experienceAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Trade certification or state/local licensing (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)Experience in live event, entertainment, or high-traffic venue environmentsBudget management experienceStrong knowledge of preventative maintenance programsPhysical Work Requirements:Physical activities include walking, talking, seeing, hearing, pushing, balancing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, handling. Ability to walk and stand for long period of timeAbility to lift and carry objects up to 50 poundsAbility to work in a very fast paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions.
