Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate parent support groups, creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters open communication and healing.

• Provide training for parents navigating complex challenges including mental health needs of their children, adoption processes, and issues related to prenatal substance exposure.

• Conduct temperament counseling for parents, promoting emotional regulation and effective parenting strategies.

• Perform developmental evaluations of children, using evidence-based tools to assess their needs and development stages.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and the achievement of favorable patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement treatment plans that align with each family’s needs and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our work is on families facing mental health challenges, particularly those involved in the care of children with emotional and developmental needs. Our client population includes parents dealing with the complexities of parenting children who may have been exposed to substances in utero, as well as families navigating the challenges of mental health and adoption. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, including at least one year in a mental health environment.

• Current and unrestricted California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).

• Demonstrated knowledge of child development, parenting strategies, and the dynamics of child abuse and neglect.

• Proven clinical experience in case management or social work roles within a healthcare or social services setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
