Job Overview STEMblazers is seeking a dedicated Program Assistant to provide essential logistical and administrative support for our growing programs. This role supports chapter meetings and related activities, facilitates program evaluations and observations across the greater Denver metro area, and assists with volunteer engagement. STEMblazers operates 35 chapters with regular meetings conducted both in person and virtually. The Program Assistant will support the Program Manager in ensuring smooth program operations, contributing to an exceptional participant experience while helping sustain and grow STEMblazers’ mission. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working with diverse volunteers, partners, and staff, with a strong commitment to inclusion and empowering girls in STEM. Responsibilities Planning & Coordination Assist with coordinating logistics for chapter meetings and activities across all program segments (middle school, high school, and workforce/alumni). Prepare materials and communicate with schools, volunteers, and participants. Support speaker engagements, industry tours, and events while maintaining accurate records. Assist the Program Manager with preparing volunteer training sessions to ensure consistent and engaging programming. Ensuring Programs Achieve Stated Objectives Support site visits by preparing materials, documenting observations, and assisting volunteers during on‑site engagements. Serve as a backup facilitator, leading chapter meetings when Volunteer Chapter Leader coverage is unavailable. Assist with planning and logistics for workforce/alumni events in collaboration with the Program Manager. Support biannual program evaluations, including data collection and documentation. Implementing Program Activities Aligned with STEMblazers' Mission Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for program activities across middle and high school chapters. Collect feedback from participants and volunteers to inform program improvements. Participate in prototyping and testing new activities alongside the Program Manager. Maintain and organize instructional guides and activity resources to ensure accessibility and accuracy. Managing Program Operations Maintain inventory of program supplies, ensuring materials are stocked, organized, and ready for use. Assist with tracking program expenses, maintaining logs, and supporting record‑keeping as directed. Requirements Availability from 8:00am-Noon OR Noon–5:00 PM , Monday–Friday; some evenings and occasional weekends required.
