Payroll, Timekeeping & Accounting Coordinator

The Payroll/Timekeeping & Accounting Coordinator will prepare weekly payroll and timekeeping reports for approximately 140 hourly Union employees (fulltime) across the Carrier Lewisburg, TN Distribution Center. The incumbent will be the first point of contact on all payroll inquiries from employees and management and the centralized group responsible for processing payroll. The ideal candidate will have experience meeting required deadlines, troubleshooting problems, and have a high attention to detail. Prepare weekly payroll and timekeeping reports for approximately 140 hourly Union employees (fulltime) across the Carrier Lewisburg, TN Distribution Center and support PO processing and support for finance. Key Responsibilities: Submits documents to the payroll team complete, on time and free of errors. Responsible for updating payroll data changes in Company Timekeeping system (KRONOS) Responsible for verification of employee data that is imported from Carrier’s Payroll and HR Systems (ADP and Workday) Responsible for data entry of all payroll‑related information into the timekeeping system in an accurate and timely manner for the processing of payroll. Ensures that documents received are properly completed and authorized prior to processing. Maintains an orderly file system of all data to be entered, and that which is entered. Meets the required timelines for payroll entering Reconciles data errors and communicates/ records corrective action. Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll/timekeeping Assist with other projects and assignments as required Demonstrates good human relations skills in professionally handling internal payroll and timekeeping inquiries (e.g. questions with paystub, new employee numbers, timecards, badging issues, etc.) Partner with the Global People Services centralized hub to resolve pay/timekeeping issues Required Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in payroll/timekeeping 3+ years working knowledge of timekeeping system Preferred Qualifications: Experience with KRONOS timekeeping Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with new technology and system upgrades Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel) Experience working in a manufacturing facility and/or warehouse environment Sound knowledge of company policies and procedures regarding payroll/timekeeping activities Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Excellent organizational skills, time management and the ability to prioritize tasks Generate ad hoc queries within KRONOS Support internal PO/invoicing processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Carrier
