How we care for our clients is central to everything we build.The RoleAllied Maker is seeking an organized, dependable, and highly responsive Production Coordinator to support our production team.This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable moving between administrative work and the production floor. The Production Coordinator helps ensure that orders, materials, information, and communication move cleanly through the company.You will confirm shipping information, monitor order readiness, communicate production delays, help coordinate inventory, move materials between departments, and provide day-to-day support to Production Managers. The role requires someone who notices what is missing, follows up without being prompted, and stays with an issue until it is resolved.This position sits at an important point between production, inventory, sales, dispatch, and the client. Clear communication and accurate information are essential. When an order changes or a delay occurs, the Production Coordinator helps ensure that the right people know promptly and that the information is documented correctly.The right person will be highly organized, comfortable in an active manufacturing environment, and willing to help wherever needed. They will understand that small details, such as an unconfirmed address, missing component, or uncommunicated delay, can have a significant effect on the client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder and Shipping ConfirmationReview upcoming orders and confirm that shipping addresses and contact information are complete and accurateContact clients or work with the Sales team to resolve missing or conflicting shipping informationVerify shipping instructions, split-shipment requests, and other order-specific requirementsConfirm that order information is properly documented in internal systemsIdentify issues that could prevent an order from shipping and escalate them promptlySupport Dispatch with accurate, timely information as orders approach completionProduction CommunicationMonitor production schedules and identify orders that may not meet their expected completion datesGather accurate status information from Production Managers and department leadsCommunicate production delays clearly and promptly to the Sales teamAssist with client-facing delay notifications using approved company language and accurate informationDocument communications, revised expectations, and required follow-upsEnsure that changes are communicated across departments so that everyone is working from the same informationFollow up on open production issues until they are resolvedInventory and Material CoordinationAssist with locating, organizing, counting, and tracking materials and componentsHelp coordinate materials needed for current and upcoming productionMove materials, components, and work-in-progress safely between departmentsDeliver parts and materials to the appropriate production areas as neededIdentify missing, damaged, mislabeled, or incorrectly located inventoryCommunicate inventory shortages and discrepancies to Production Managers and the appropriate internal teamsHelp maintain clean, clearly identified, and organized material staging areasSupport physical inventory counts and other inventory-control activitiesProduction SupportProvide day-to-day administrative and operational assistance to Production ManagersPrepare production documents, order information, labels, lists, and other materials as requestedHelp track open items, shortages, priorities, and next actionsAssist with coordinating urgent orders and production changesFollow up with internal departments to obtain missing information or materialsHelp maintain an orderly flow of work across the production floorTake on additional production support responsibilities as operational needs changeQualificationsApproximately 1 to 3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, operations, logistics, order coordination, or a related environmentStrong organizational skills and careful attention to detailClear, professional written and verbal communicationAbility to follow multiple orders and open items without losing track of detailsStrong follow-through and a willingness to take ownership of problemsComfort communicating with production employees, managers, sales representatives, and clientsAbility to work effectively in both an office setting and an active production environmentBasic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and standard business softwareExperience with Wrike, NetSuite, inventory systems, or manufacturing software is helpful but not requiredAbility to safely lift and move materials and components throughout the workdayAvailability to work on-site Monday through FridayWhat We Are Looking ForAccurate, organized, and dependableProactive about identifying and communicating problemsComfortable moving between a computer and the production floorAble to prioritize in a fast-moving environmentCalm and clear when plans changeWilling to ask questions rather than make unsupported assumptionsDisciplined about documenting information and closing loopsRespectful and effective with people across different departmentsHelpful, practical, and willing to contribute wherever neededInterested in learning how a sophisticated product moves from raw material through production and deliveryThis role is not simply about passing information from one person to another.
